Just for fun, a note on the AI stories I'm reading plus a few quick announcements on new stuff: Maven discounts, Founding tier benefits, plus a new slack/discord community I'm starting!
These aren’t generic AI trend reports—they’re intelligence for leaders making real decisions. Each brief runs 3-4 pages or less (think: executive summary length) but aims to pack in the kind of analysis that usually costs thousands from consultants.
Examples I’m kicking around: AI procurement pitfalls and guidelines for build/buy, the hidden costs of AI implementation that CFOs aren’t modeling correctly, which AI investment patterns actually correlate with measurable ROI, AI startup and public market investment theses.
I’m synthesizing insights from technical papers, real implementation case studies, and conversations with practitioners who are actually building this stuff.
The goal? Give you the context to net net improve decision quality measurably for leaders who have real accountability for dollars or people.
Oh! I wasn't doubting the value at all. I was just looking for more information on what comes with the subscription upgrade. Thanks for the details! Also, do we get past content as well?
No it’s a really fair question actually—substack makes it harder than it really should be to share info like this. And yep of course you get all the posts, past, present, and future :)
So part of why not telegram is that the scammers that impersonate me on TikTok use telegram and it will be a problem for a bunch of my followers if they have to figure out which telegram is legit
That is a real issue. Unfortunately that’s also an issue on Discord. I use the latter sole but much less so take my comment with a grain of salt.
I’m sure whatever you choose will work out, it’s the content and community that are most important.
I highly recommend if choosing Discord or Telegram to plan for the scammers and craft a primer for the uninitiated (turn off DMs, be vigilant, I will never ask you for money or personal info in Discord/Telegram/etc.). And remind people to be careful of personal details in profiles etc on those platforms.
Maybe Slack bubbles up given the above.
I still vote for Telegram - once hardened against scammers (change privacy defaults and above practices) it’s just a superior and easier to navigate platform.
Where can I read about the Founding Tier/Executive Circle?
Don’t have a separate page here, but a few notes:

Hi Nate, the promo code does not work any more.
Telegram would be superior to Discord by far. Did you consider Telegram?
Slack I’ve heard good things but don’t use it regularly.
