Sam Altman tweeted his roadmap today. Which is apparently how you communicate major roadmaps now. Big news is that Orion (confirmed at GPT 4.5) will be the last separately named model for OpenAI. The company will then turn its attention to GPT 5, and everything will wrap under that name. That means o3 isn’t going to be released. That means Deep Research wraps under GPT 5.
